Brady Nelson picked up 146 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead Hayfield to a 21-6 win over Cotter on Friday night.

The Vikings also received key efforts from Mason Nitz who caught 2 passes for 101 yards and 1 touchdown and Kolby Tapp who caught 1 pass for 16 yards.

Cotter’s Tate Gilbertson threw for 49 yards and 1 touchdown, Austin Hicks picked up 80 rushing yards and Laken Macal had 34 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Hayfield improve to 2-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
