Royalton’s Cierra Gottwalt led the way with 19 points as the Royals beat Crosby-Ironton Rangers 71-69 in a game at Royalton.

Gottwalt’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 8 of 12 free throws during the game.

Shyanne Loiland added 18. Crosby Ironton fell to 0-1 overall while Royalton improved their record to 8-2.

Royalton will host Browerville/Eagle Valley on Friday Jan. 11 at 5:15pm.
