Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers defeat Maple River Eagles 45-35 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Waterville Elysian Morristown’s Shelby Hermel led all scorers with 17 points as the Buccaneers beat Maple River Eagles 45-35 in a game.

Hermel’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Ally Bruegger added 9. Maple River fell to 1-2 overall while Waterville Elysian Morristown improved their record to 3-0.

Maple River’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 5:15pm versus Blooming Prairie. Waterville Elysian Morristown will host New Richland Hartland Ellendale Geneva on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 5:15pm.
