Mesabi East’s Ava Hill led all scorers with 28 points as the Giants beat Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels 61-48 in a game at Aurora MN.

Hill’s points came on 7 field goals, 2 three pointers and 8 of 10 free throws during the game.

Dallas Kukuk added 7. while Mesabi East improved their record to 2-1.

Mesabi East will travel to Eveleth MN on Thursday Dec. 6 at 5:15pm to play Eveleth Gilbert.
