Medford Tigers defeat Hayfield Vikings 54-45 in Minnesota high school basketball game

Medford’s Emma Kniefel led all scorers with 27 points as the Tigers beat Hayfield Vikings 54-45 in a game.

Kniefel’s points came on 7 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 1 free throws during the game.

Emma Holst added 13. Hayfield fell to 2-4 overall while Medford improved their record to 2-0.

Hayfield’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 5:15pm versus Medford. Medford will travel to on Friday Dec. 14 at 5:15pm to play Bethlehem Academy.
