Ashley’s Mikhail Pocknett led all scorers with 19 points as the Screaming Eagle beat Hoggard Vikings 54-45 in a game at Wilmington, NC.

Pocknett’s points came on 8 field goals and 3 of 7 free throws during the game.

Sam Jones added 16. Hoggard fell to 3-2 overall while Ashley improved their record to 1-0.

Hoggard’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 29 versus North Brunswick. Ashley will host Hoggard on Tuesday Feb. 2
