New Hanover’s K Genwright led all scorers with 15 points as the Wildcats beat South Brunswick Cougars 68-43 in a game at South Brunswick HS.

Genwright’s points came on 4 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Jordan Jenrette added 13. South Brunswick fell to 1-7 overall while New Hanover improved their record to 1-0.

South Brunswick’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Feb. 18 versus Ashley. New Hanover will travel to Wilmington, NC on Friday Feb. 19 to play Hoggard.
