New Hanover Wildcats edges Jack Britt Buccaneers 56-52 in North Carolina high school basketball game

New Hanover’s Jalen Anderson led all scorers with 23 points as the Wildcats beat Jack Britt Buccaneers 56-52 in a game.

Anderson’s points came on 4 field goals, 3 three pointers and 6 of 11 free throws during the game.

Kean Keys added 10. Jack Britt fell to 8-3 overall while New Hanover improved their record to 1-1.

New Hanover will travel to Southport, NC on Friday Jan. 25 at 4:30pm to play South Brunswick.
