Wake Forest Cougars defeat Hoggard Vikings 23-8 in North Carolina high school football game

Wake Forest High School Dominic Williams picked up 112 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to help the Wake Forest Cougars to a 23-8 win over the Hoggard Vikings on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.
The Cougars also received vital efforts from Michael DiPasquale who rushed 13 times for 67 yards and Tre Stancil who caught 2 passes for 30 yards and 1 touchdown.
Hoggard’s quarterback Sam Jones threw for 97 yards, running back Sam Williams picked up 30 rushing yards and wide receiver Conrad Newman had 50 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Wake Forest improve to 3-0 on the season while Hoggard falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
