Hoggard Vikings cruises by North Brunswick Scorpions 36-7 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Sam Jones picked up 116 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 36-7 win over the North Brunswick Scorpions on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received major efforts from running back Cayden Hollar who rushed 14 times for 79 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Henry Heitman who rushed 9 times for 63 yards and 1 touchdown.
North Brunswick’s RJ Green threw for 81 yards, Janizheon Jones picked up 32 rushing yards and Dom’Ahnic Atkinson-Bell had 27 receiving yards.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 6-1 on the season while North Brunswick falls to 3-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Hoggard will challenge the Ashley Screaming Eagle at home on Friday October 15. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
North Brunswick will take on the West Brunswick Trojans at home on Friday October 15. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
