Hoggard crushes Topsail 41-0

Josh Jones picked up 202 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Hoggard to a 41-0 win over Topsail on Friday night at Hampstead, NC.

The Vikings also recieved vital efforts from John Bennett who rushed 17 times for 80 yards and 1 touchdown and Tre Houser who caught 2 passes for 63 yards and 1 touchdown.

Topsail’s Jacob Floyd threw for 34 yards, Noah Lavalle picked up 37 rushing yards and DJ Montano had 22 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 5-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will face off against the E.A. Laney Buccaneers at home on Friday September 29 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
