Hoggard cruises by Orange 34-7

Jordan Rickey picked up 121 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Hoggard to a 34-7 win over Orange on Friday night at Wilmington, NC.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from Gabe Johnson who completed 10 passes for 110 yards and Kenneth Marshall who rushed 15 times for 91 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Orange’s Travis Ray threw for 52 yards and 1 touchdown, Hunter Pettiford picked up 18 rushing yards and Colin Guentensberger had 26 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 2-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will take on the Carolina Forest Panthers at home on Friday September 7 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
