Hoggard defeats Holly Springs 21-6

Jordan Rickey picked up 73 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to guide Hoggard to a 21-6 win over Holly Springs on Friday night at Raleigh, NC.

The Vikings also recieved helpful efforts from CJ Pipkin who caught 3 passes for 38 yards and Gabe Johnson who completed 6 passes for 46 yards and 1 touchdown.

Holly Springs’ QB Bo Sowers threw for 2 yards, RB Dallas King picked up 149 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and QB Austen Wiegers had 2 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 1-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will face off against the Orange Panthers at home on Friday August 24 at 4:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
