Hoggard Vikings crushes West Brunswick Trojans 55-14 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring accumulated 196 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 55-14 win over the West Brunswick Trojans on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from Judah Gillespie who rushed 8 times for 36 yards and 2 touchdowns and Matthew Knips who completed 5 passes for 55 yards and 1 touchdown.

West Brunswick’s QB Quarterback threw for 8 yards, RB RunningBack picked up 111 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR WideReceiver had 8 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 4-1 on the season while West Brunswick falls to 1-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will challenge the New Hanover Wildcats at home on Friday October 2. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
