Hoggard Vikings defeat Ashley Screaming Eagle 30-13 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring picked up 212 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide the Hoggard Vikings to a 30-13 win over the Ashley Screaming Eagle on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from Judah Gillespie who rushed 17 times for 71 yards and Mally Hansley who rushed 8 times for 34 yards.

Ashley’s QB QUARTERBACK threw for 159 yards and 1 touchdown, RB RUNNINGBACK picked up 17 rushing yards and WR WIDERECEIVER had 159 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 9-1 on the season while Ashley falls to 5-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
