Hoggard Vikings defeat Richmond Raiders 27-13 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring accumulated 159 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 27-13 win over the Richmond Raiders on Thursday night at Rockingham, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received key efforts from Judah Gillespie who rushed 19 times for 87 yards and 1 touchdown and Jason Arciola who rushed 8 times for 25 yards.

Richmond’s QB Quarterback threw for 112 yards, RB RunningBack picked up 195 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and WR WideReciever had 82 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 1-0 on the season while Richmond falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Hoggard will take on the Jack Britt Buccaneers at home on Friday August 28. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
