Clayton High School QB Quarterback racked up 226 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead the Clayton Comets to a 21-17 win over the Hoggard Vikings on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Comets also received vital efforts from RB RunningBack who rushed 23 times for 47 yards and WR WideReceiver who caught 12 passes for 226 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Hoggard’s quarterback Matthew Boring threw for 78 yards, Judah Gillespie picked up 106 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Desyn Durand had 48 receiving yards.

The win helps Clayton improve to 3-0 on the season while Hoggard falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Clayton will challenge the West Johnston Wildcats at home on Friday September 11. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
