Hoggard Vikings beat New Hanover Wildcats 19-13 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Gabe Johnson picked up 106 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 19-13 win over the New Hanover Wildcats on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from wide receiver Chad Hollar who caught 6 passes for 63 yards and wide receiver Conrad Newman who caught 1 pass for 43 yards and 1 touchdown.

New Hanover’s Aliam Appler threw for 87 yards and 1 touchdown, Razz Chandler picked up 125 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Charles Dutart had 37 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 1-0 on the season while New Hanover falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
