Hoggard Vikings crushes North Brunswick Scorpions 42-14 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Gabe Johnson racked up 101 passing yards to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 42-14 win over the North Brunswick Scorpions on Friday night at Leland, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back Sam Williams who rushed 11 times for 57 yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Chad Hollar who caught 6 passes for 56 yards and 1 touchdown.
North Brunswick’s RJ Green threw for 278 yards and 2 touchdowns, Kam Mapson picked up 15 rushing yards and Tate Davis had 170 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 5-0 on the season while North Brunswick falls to 1-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Hoggard will challenge the Topsail Pirates at home on Thursday April 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
