Hoggard Vikings crushes South Brunswick Cougars 49-3 in North Carolina high school football game

Hoggard High School running back Sam Williams accumulated 116 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead the Hoggard Vikings to a 49-3 win over the South Brunswick Cougars on Monday night at Southport, NC in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received crucial efforts from quarterback Gabe Johnson who completed 9 passes for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns and wide receiver Chad Hollar who caught 3 passes for 45 yards and 2 touchdowns.
South Brunswick’s Roman Dilgard threw for 62 yards, Jackson Turturici picked up 25 rushing yards and Miguel Miller had 48 receiving yards.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 7-0 on the season while South Brunswick falls to 2-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
South Brunswick will take on the West Brunswick Trojans at home on Friday April 9. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
