Photos: Plano East downs Stony Point for first Texas (UIL) boys state basketball championship

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - DJ Hall finished with 18 points and six boards and helped Plano East beat Stony Point 53-41 in a Texas (UIL) Class 6A state championship showdown between nationally ranked foes on Saturday at the Alamodome.
With the win, Plano East finished the season a perfect 40-0. Rachard Angton added 13 points off the bench and Isaiah Brewington had six steals for the Panthers.

Villanova signee Josiah Moseley led Stony Point with 18 points and 12 boards.
