KELSO — Junior Omari Maulana knows Wednesday night's 2B District 4 semifinal win over Winlock brings Life Christian Academy one step closer to its ultimate goal.

He logged 19 points in the Eagles' 63-42 win at Kelso High School, but it was the team's defense that the team says is the bedrock of its success.
