Dodgers Name Opening Day Starter for Seoul Series

Los Angeles officially names a starter.

The Dodgers open their regular season next week against the rival San Diego Padres in Korea, in what is a highly-anticipated start. With all the excitement from the offseason, this will be a spectacle for everyone involved.

Los Angeles will be gearing up to show off their new pieces in a meaningful game, and they have announced their Opening Day starter. Right-hander Tyler Glasnow will take the ball for the Dodgers to open the season, followed by Yoshinobu Yamamoto in game two.

Glasnow will get the chance to make his official Dodges debut in one of the biggest games of the year. He will be facing off against Padres' right-hander Yu Darvish, setting up a strong pitching matchup.

The hometown kid gets his chance to open the year for Los Angeles, which should be a special moment for him. The big right has talked about what it means for him to be a member of the Dodgers since he was acquired, and he will get his chance to help the team start the year off strong.

Los Angeles is counting on big things from Glasnow this season, despite all the talk about his injury concerns. Glasnow has some of the nastiest stuff in the league on the mound, capable of mowing down opposing lineups.

The opening game against San Diego marks the start of what is expected to be one of the more crucial seasons in recent memory. All eyes are on the Dodgers this year and the pressure to win is stronger than ever. They have the talent in place to make things happen, but now need to execute on the field.
