Let's set the scene.

Both the Cleveland Guardians and Toronto Blue Jays have struggled to score runs all series. That's why it's been crucial that they capitalize whenever there are runners on base.

Cleveland entered the seventh inning with a two-run lead, but Enyel De Los Santos struggled and the Blue Jays ended up scoring a pair of runs off him and had runners on first and second with no outs when he exited the game.

Trevor Stephan came into the game in relief and imminently struck out George Springer looking with a low fastball.

Springer was not pleased with the call at all and made multiple comments to Jeremie Rehak, the home plate umpire. The Blue Jays' center fielder was then tossed from the game which forced manager John Schneider to run out in his defense.

Schneider was also ejected from the game and will watch the rest of the game from the away locker room.

In their defense, the pitch was low based on the box shown on the broadcast. However, Bo Naylor did a great job graming the pitch and was probably too close to take with two strikes.
