The Cleveland Guardians are about to have one of their biggest tests all season. It's time to see where exactly this team fits in the early playoff hunt. They'll be going up against the Baltimore Orioles who currently sit at 34-19 which is second-best in the American League.

Cleveland is just coming off an energetic and emotional win thanks to a walk-off from Jose Ramirez. But at the end of the day, the Guardians are going to need to score more than four runs to beat Baltimore.

The Guardians have actually been hitting the ball better as of late. They out-hit the Cardinals in two of their three games against them (seven hits in game one, eight in game two, and 11 hits in game three)

But now they have to turn those hits into runs against Baltimore.

The Orioles are averaging five runs per game, compared to Clvealnd's 3.4. Yes, the Guardians do have a tremendous pitching staff but they can't be perfect for three straight games. That's an impossible task.

If Cleveland can't score runs, then they're going to struggle in this series.
