The Cleveland Guardians' future Hall of Fame Manager was not in the dugout on Tuesday night. Terry Francona didn't feel well prior to the first pitch against the Kansas City Royals, he received some treatment at the stadium but went back to the team hotel as a precaution.

He then went to a local hospital and was held there overnight for more tests and to be observed by the doctors there. Thankfully, tests came back "within normal ranges," and he'll just have to rest "for the next day or two."

Francona will not be in the dugout managing again on Thursday and will stay at the team hotel in order to continue resting. His return to the team is considered to be day-to-day at this point.

DeMarlo Hale, who managed on Wednesday, will continue to be the team's leading skipper as the Guardians take on the Kansas City Royals at 8:10 EST on Thursday.
