PREVIEW: Indians take on Twins with Bauer on the mound

CLEVELAND-- After coming off a series win against the Angels this past weekend, the Indians welcome the Minnesota Twins for a four-game series. Overall this season, Minnesota is 7-5 against the Tribe.

1. Bauer Outage
Indians RHP Trevor Bauer will take the hill for the Tribe to open up the series. This year Bauer is 1-1 against the Twins owning a 3.75 ERA. The All-Star hasn’t lost a game since June 2 and in his last 6 starts, he is 3-0.

2. Attacking Kyle Gibson
Twins starter Kyle Gibson also own a 1-1 record against the Indians this season. Overall in his career, he is 3-7. Gibson only has given up five runs in his three starts.

3. Important Series
The Indians enter this series with a nine game lead in the AL Central, and this is an important series for both teams. For the Tribe, it’s all about gaining their confidence and could be a huge boost if they come out in this series with winning three games or even a sweep before heading out to Chicago on Friday.
