The Miami Marlins might have a hidden talent in their farm system after an outfielder had a good week in the minors.

While offense has been hard to come by for the Major League club, the Marlins are seeing some better offensive success further down the organization.

Single-A outfielder Mark Coley II was named the Florida State League Player of the Week for April 8-14, according to the Marlins Communications team. Coley had a fantastic week with a .400/.464/.760 slash line. He had a double and three triples (in three straight games) with three runs batted in and seven runs scored himself.

He leads the FSL with four triples and ranks second in the league with 12 hits.

Coley,23, is currently the No. 22 prospect in the Marlins farm system with an estimated big league arrival of 2026.

Here is what MLB Pipeline has to say about him as a player:

"Coley's bat speed and strength rank among the best in the system and create plus raw power. A right-handed hitter, he looks to make the most of it by launching balls to his pull side, though his approach also yields strikeouts and rolled-over groundballs. More raw than most 23-year-olds because he had only 305 at-bats in five years in college, he could do a lot of damage if he learns to be more selective. "

Coley is a career .292/.410/.531 hitter across two seasons in the minor leagues. He played four seasons at Rhode Island before being drafted in the 17th round of the 2023 MLB draft.
