Talk about a headache.

Outfielder Starling Marte was scratched from the New York Mets' lineup on Tuesday night against the Chicago White Sox with a migraine.

This is the second time in four days, in which Marte has been unable to play for the Mets due to a migraine.

Marte missed Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with the same issue.

It has been a disappointing season for Marte, who underwent double groin surgery in the offseason. According to the 34-year-old, this procedure is still affecting his ability to hit at the plate, specifically the usage of his hips to access his power.

Marte has an anemic 13 extra-base hits on the year with just five home runs.

Marte signed a four-year, $78 million deal with the Mets in the 2021-2022 offseason. Year-one was a success, where he made the second All-Star team of his career. But his second season hasn't gone as planned, and as he revealed recently, he is still not fully healthy.

The Mets entered play on Tuesday night with a 43-50 record and 8.5 games out of the final Wild Card spot in the National League.

The Mets have about one week left to get hot before the front office decides on being sellers at the trade deadline.
