Padres Reveal Full Promotional Calendar for 2024 Season

The San Diego Padres will distribute 18 giveaways throughout the upcoming season.

The San Diego Padres released their full promotional schedule for the upcoming 2024 season.

At select games, the first 40,000 fans will receive branded items including bobbleheads, hats, wearables, and more. On two Sundays, there are two giveaways specifically for the first 8,000 kids 14 years old and under.

Each item is featured in the video below.

The first promotional item is an Opening Series hat to commemorate the 20th season at Petco Park.

There are five bobblehead dates on the calendar featuring Manny Machado, Joe Musgrove, Xander Bogaerts, Ha-Seong Kim, and Fernando Tatís Jr.

Some clothing items include a Musgrove basketball jersey and a City Connect hoodie.

On Monday, Aug. 12, the Padres will honor the 25th anniversary of Tony Gwynn's 3,000th career hit with a Gwynn Henley Jersey.

The Padres averaged 40,389 fans last season to home games at Petco Park, the third-highest average in MLB. That marked a significant leap from 2022, when San Diego drew 36,931 fans per home contest, fifth in MLB.

This season's roster lacks the star power and hype of years past. Gone are Juan Soto, Josh Hader and (presumably) reigning National League Cy Young award winner Blake Snell.

With the on-field product potentially taking a step back, the Padres' door prizes might need to pull their weight to pull fans in.
