Philadelphia Phillies vs. Colorado Rockies How To Watch, Listen, Probables
The Philadelphia Phillies remain home at Citizens Bank Park to host the Colorado Rockies in a series that begins on Monday.
The Philadelphia Phillies start the second leg of their homestand when they host the Colorado Rockies for a three-game series that starts on Monday at Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies (8-8) remained at .500 for the season after splitting a four-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates, a series that ended on Sunday with a 9-2 loss to the Pirates.
After they wrap up the series with the Rockies, Philadelphia gets an off-day before it hosts a three-game interleague series with the Chicago White Sox.
Outfielder Brandon Marsh has emerged as one of the most balanced offensive threats in the lineup. He has four home runs and nine RBI while batting .313. Third baseman Alec Bohm leads the Phillies with 10 RBI. Marsh leads the team in batting average, but shortstop Trea Turner is close behind at .302.
The Phillies are getting offense from other sources, which is important as Bryce Harper is batting just .190 to start the season. He has three home runs, but all three came in the same game. Kyle Schwarber also had three home runs and is batting .242.
Aaron Nola, who will start the opener of the Rockies series, is the team’s co-leader in wins with two, along with reliever Jeff Hoffman and starter Ranger Suárez, who starts on Tuesday. Zack Wheeler continues to be a hard-luck starter, with an 0-3 record but a 3.00 ERA.
The return of reliever Orion Kerkering — he pitched a scoreless inning on Sunday — should bolster a bullpen that has José Alvarado leading with two saves.
Here is the preview for the game, with probable pitchers, how to watch and listen, injury updates and more.
