Yankees Reportedly 'All Over' Pair Of Superstar Outfielders As Club Looks To Make Major Moves

New York could look into landing multiple superstars this offseason in surprising moves

Could the New York Yankees land two of the best outfielders in baseball this offseason?

New York has stated that it is looking to bring in some outfield help this offseason and it certainly needs it. The Yankees need to improve the offense this offseason and have been linked to multiple stars. While the Yankees may land one, they could even target multiple.

The Yankees reportedly will be targeting both Chicago Cubs outfielder Cody Bellinger and San Diego Padres star Juan Soto, according to MLB Network's Jon Morosi.

"I believe the market for Soto is robust and there are enough teams out there to where I believe a trade is not only possible, it's possible before the Winter Meetings are over," Morosi said. "Now it is only a one-year scenario and that can have a way of tempering the value in the market place but we're still talking about one of the best offensive players in the game...

"The New York Yankees to me are the team to watch. The in-division rival San Francisco Giants are another and I mentioned those two teams because they're both linked to Cody Bellinger. Bellinger is a similar player in some respects...The Yankees are going to be all over Soto in the same way that they're all over Cody Bellinger."

If the Yankees could land either Bellinger or Soto, it would greatly improve the club. New York has plenty of talent on the roster and is one major splash away from pushing for a postseason spot. If the club somehow could land both Bellinger and Soto, they immediately should be considered World Series contenders.
