Bones Hyland Denies Throwing Shade at Jamal Murray
Bones Hyland was trending momentarily today after an interview he made at Clippers practice today went viral. During the interview, Hyland was asked what it was like playing with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray compared to Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Throughout his answer, Hyland seemed to forget Murray's name in any of the conversations. Once it went viral, Hyland immediately denied that it was shade toward Jamal.
“It was a great experience playing with Joker,” Hyland said. “Two guys over here who are phenomenal talents, and over there there’s one guy with phenomenal talent as well.”
Nuggets fans and analysts didn't take too kindly to the statement and immediately started calling out Hyland for his diss on Murray. Within a few hours, Hyland made this statement.
"It’s no way y’all finna run wit that quote y’all crazy man 😂, I never threw no shots y’all just be fishing."
Hyland followed up his statement, even adding a video showing his love for Murray.
"Like this is really my boy. Y’all gotta chill out man. I haven’t addressed anything to the media. But just to let y’all know y’all look crazy 😂😂 everything is great between me & mally that’s my guy 4L ❤️"
Whether or not Nuggets fans will believe Hyland is another story. What matters though is that Jamal Murray knows that Bones Hyland genuinely has love for him.
