James Harden Gets Honest on Clippers' Horrible Losses

The Clippers had some very bad losses the last two weeks.

No NBA Championship contender has had worse losses than the LA Clippers during these past two weeks. LA has lost some devastating games against the Lakers, the shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks, and now the Minnesota Timberwolves. Each of those games had a double-digit lead, too.

After the most recent loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves, James Harden opened up on the significance of each loss and how they're all important. Even though the game against the Timberwolves was particularly important, Harden noted that every game is important and that every loss has been bad.

“It's not just this game. It’s the Milwaukee game in Milwaukee," Harden said. "You look at the Laker game, like this [game]. I could point to a handful of games. It's not about another team. It's about us and that's what we preach and that's what it is. No matter who we play. And if we're healthy and our energy is right, it doesn't matter who we play.”

Against the Lakers, the Clippers blew a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter. Against the Bucks without Giannis, the Clippers blew a 13-point lead in the quarter. Against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a massive game, the Clippers blew a 22-point lead in five minutes during the second quarter. For one reason or another, the Clippers have lost their mental edge, and it's starting to wane on its players.

There aren't many games left for the Clippers to start getting this right, but they have a chance to get back at it against the Chicago Bulls tomorrow.
