2024 NBA Draft Superlatives: Top Shooters

The 2024 NBA Draft is still ways away and even the college season is still a couple months out. It’s never too late to dive into some draft superlatives. Who are the top three shooters in the draft?

Every NBA team could use an elite shooter that has the ability to take control of games with their ability to shoot the lights out from all over the floor. We have seen players change games with their elite scoring ability with guys like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Ray Allen and many more. Here are the top three shooters that are eligible for the 2024 NBA Draft.

Tucker DeVries | Drake

Tucker DeVries, Drake Bulldogs

Tucker DeVries is a 6-foot-7 wing with some of the best shot versatility in the entire draft. DeVries has great range on his jumper and is comfortable shooting from relatively anywhere on the floor. His elite floor spacing ability opens up the floor for the rest of his teammates significantly. His season didn’t end the way he would’ve liked last season in the NCAA tournament, but with him coming back another year we could see him put up some ridiculous shooting performances. DeVries is a sharpshooting wing who currently plays under his father as his dad is the head coach of Drake.

Baylor Scheierman | Creighton

Baylor Scheierman, Creighton Bluejays

Baylor Scheierman elected to return to Creighton for his final year of college basketball and will likely be given a bigger role with the ball as Ryan Nembhard and Arthur Kaluma both transferred schools. Scheierman is a 6-foot-6 wing and is one of the best left-handed shooters in recent memory. The sharpshooting wing has limitless range and excels as a shooter off the catch or off the dribble. What makes Scheierman so unique is his ability to pass and handle as he’s comfortable as a secondary ball-handler. We should expect Scheierman to end his college career with a bang.

Andrej Stojakovic | Stanford

Andrej Stojakovic, Stanford

Andrej Stojakovic is an incoming freshman that’ll be playing for Stanford this upcoming season. The apple obviously doesn’t fall too far from the tree as his father is Peja Stojakovic, who is known as one of the best shooters in NBA history. Stojakovic stands at 6-foot-6 with a 6-foot-9 wingspan and has a very high release on his jumper. His ability to shoot over defenders off the catch and off the dribble gives him a major advantage as a pure shooter. There are moments where Stojakovic can get ridiculously hot and make shots that you don’t often see young 19-year olds be able to do.
