Liam McNeeley, one of the top high school basketball player in the country, made his college decision official on Sunday.

At halftime of the Top Flight Invite game, McNeeley announced he would be continuing his collegiate career Indiana. He had narrowed down his list to just two schools, crossing out the Kansas Jayhawks last.

A 6-foot-7 forward, McNeeley is next up in a long line of Montverde Academy graduates to pursue successful basketball careers, including Cade Cunningham, RJ Barrett, Ben Simmons and more.

McNeeley is a five-star across all four major recruiting sites, which includes 2247sports, On3, Rivals and ESPN. Nationally, he tops out at No. 13 on ESPN and Rivals, and ranks fourteenth and fifteenth per On3 and 247sports, respectively.

A wing with a vast array of on-court skills, McNeeley is best known for his shooting, which is already elite at the preps level and projects to be solid at both the college and professional levels, too.

He has great feel overall and extremely sound shooting mechanics, making him a good bet offensively. The few concerns about his overall game at the next level stem from his general athleticism and defensive skills.

McNeeley is currently in the 2024 high school class, meaning he'll be eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft. His Montverde counterpart in the same class, Cooper Flagg, is likely the best basketball prospect in the world.
