NBA Draft Roundup: Cody Williams Tops Wednesday Performances

Colorado’s Cody Williams led all potential draftees in Wednesday night’s college basketball slate.

Despite consensus expert opinion that the 2024 NBA Draft is indeed a weaker class, some collegiate players aren't done giving their respective seasons their best shot.

Here were the top potential draftee performances on Wednesday, Jan. 24:

Oso Ighodaro, Marquette

Ighodaro continues his white-hot senior campaign in a 13-point win over DePaul, pouring on 19 points on 8-for-9 shooting. Not to mention: 12 rebounds, six assists and two blocks.

At this point, scouts likely know what they’re getting in Marquette’s 6-foot-11 big man, but performances like Wednesday’s certainly help.

Milan Momcilovic, Iowa State

Forward Milan Momcilovic has been one of a few standout freshman this season, and Wednesday’s win over Kansas State featured one of his best performances to date.

The sharpshooter poured on 19 points on 50% shooting overall and from 3-point land, adding four rebounds, two steals and an assist in the process.

Ryan Dunn, Virginia

Perhaps the best defender in all of college basketball, Ryan Dunn added to his resume in a tight 6-point win over NC State.

He added his now-typical 13 points and 12 rebounds, but managed a feisty six blocks, too.

Cody Williams, Colorado

Williams has quickly come on as one of college basketball’s most talented freshman, even with a midseason wrist injury.

In a blowout win over Washington Wednesday, he put together another stock-altering game: 19 points, four assists, three rebounds and just one turnover.

Even better, he continued his hyper efficiency, hitting seven of his 10 attempts and nailing two of his three 3-pointers.
