The Miami Heat were defeated by the Phoenix Suns on Monday 118-105, extending their losing streak to seven games.

Here's a look at five major takeaways:

1. Bam Adebayo had one of his worst offensive displays of the season.

A lone point shy of his season low, Adebayo scored eight points on 3 of 9 shooting. However, the All-Star big man provided assistance in other ways with 11 rebounds, five assists, and three blocks. His lackluster offense is an area that must improve for the Heat to begin winning.

2. Tyler Herro's efficiency problems continue to be a glaring issue.

The former Sixth Man of the Year's biggest criticism is not in the past yet. Herro finished the night with 17 points on 29.4 percent shooting and 5 of 12 shooting from beyond the arc. His aggression on the offensive can benefit the Heat, but not at an inefficient rate.

3. Devin Booker and Bradley Beal struggled to hit shots down the stretch.

The star backcourt missed a multitude of shots in the final quarter, which had no impact on the outcome. Booker recorded 22 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists on 9 of 23 shooting. Meanwhile, Beal scored 19 points on 38.1 percent shooting and 2 of 9 shooting from three-point range.

4. Jimmy Butler needs his teammates to play to their capabilities.

The veteran superstar is doing all he can to push the Heat to victory. However, it is near impossible to do so with the lineup struggling in multiple aspects. He scored 26 points, along with eight rebounds and four assists. Butler is known for his postseason dominance but has yet to snap their longest losing streak of the regular season.

5. Terry Rozier showcased his potential.

It was a rough stretch in his first few games for Miami, but Rozier showed his ability. He had 21 points and three assists on 57.1 percent shooting. Not to mention, he displayed a highlight-reel play on Kevin Durant in the opening minutes.
