2 Star play on the Hornets (+2.5): These teams come into the matchup having lost a combined 21-straight games. When a moveable force meets a stoppable object though, something has to give.

While the Hornets have struggled mightily of late, they are actually 9-5 against the spread over their last 14 games, while the Wizards are just 6-10 ATS over their last 16 games.

The Hornets might have a boatload of injuries yet again, including a game-time decision Tre Mann for the contest, but should have enough firepower to topple the team with the worst record in the NBA.

2 Star play on the over: Both these teams are in the bottom-4 in the league of both offensive and defensive rating on the season, though Charlotte has faired much better defensively since all of the trade deadline additions joined the roster. 

The total is a slightly on the lower side of what I expected, likely do to all of the missing names for the Hornets. With Charlotte's best defensive stoppers sidelined and a lot of Vasilije Micic and Jordan Poole minutes, take the over this time around.
