Hornets Trade Jalen McDaniels in Three-Team Deal
Charlotte makes a move.
The Charlotte Hornets have traded Jalen McDaniels to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
As part of the deal the Sixers will send Matisse Thybulle to the Portland Trail Blazers. The deal helps the 76ers duck under the NBA luxury tax, gives the Blazers a defensive-minded wing and nets Charlotte future draft assets.
The Hornets will receive two second-round draft picks and guard Svi Mykhailiuk.
