Charles Barkley Calls Kevin Durant 'A Little Baby'

Charles Barkley is excited to see Kevin Durant on the Suns, but still kept it real.

Charles Barkley is one of the biggest Phoenix Suns fans in the world, but he's also been a big detractor of Kevin Durant. The end result, he's excited about seeing Durant on the Suns, but also doesn't mind throwing a shot at him.

Barkley was interviewed by Scoop B of Bally Sports, where he gave his reaction to Kevin Durant joining the Phoenix Suns.

"We're glad to have him in Phoenix," Barkley said. "I hope he can bring a championship to Phoenix, it would be great, I mean I live there. It would be great if they win the championship. He's a great player. He’s a little baby a lot of times, but he’s a great player, and I hope they get it done in Phoenix."

Barkley definitely sounds like he's begrudgingly giving a compliment to a player he previously insulted, but has to now praise because they're on his team. Regardless of what Barkley thinks about Durant, the trade between the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets was an absolute game-changer for both teams. For the Suns, the team is immediately vaulted as a championship favorite. For the Nets, they're now no longer contenders at all.

If the Phoenix Suns do ultimately end up winning the NBA Championship for the first time in franchise history, it'll be very interesting to see how Charles Barkley's opinion on Kevin Durant changes.
