Jae Crowder Situation Unchanged Despite Depth/Injuries, per Report

The Phoenix Suns have not seen a change of pace with their situation involving PF Jae Crowder, according to ESPN.

The dynamic between the Phoenix Suns and power forward Jae Crowder continues to form interesting twists and turns despite absolutely no movement from either side about resolving the current situation.

The two sides of the story have been heard about what exactly transpired over the summer, but both the Suns and Crowder were clear that No. 99 has played his last minute with the organization.

Despite a meniscus tear that will sideline power forward Cam Johnson for one-to-two months, there is no plans for Crowder to rejoin the Suns according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst

"The timeline is not welcome news for the Suns, who are thin at forward with veteran Jae Crowder away from the team until a trade can be worked out," Windhorst said.

"Despite Johnson's injury, there is no change to the situation with Crowder, and there are no current plans for him to return to the team, sources said."

The Suns have been forced to start Torrey Craig with Dario Saric also seeing increased minutes as a result of injury. Including the game Johnson exited early last Friday, Phoenix is 1-2 in their short stretch without Johnson.

As the season continues to progress, the hope is for other teams across the league to become more desperate in changing their roster.

Both sides look forward to officially move on from each other, as today's report from Windhorst provided the nail in the coffin for any talks about a potential reunion between the Suns and Crowder.
