Chris Paul Out vs. Timberwolves

Phoenix Suns PG Chris Paul will not play against the Minnesota Timberwolves with right heel soreness.

The Phoenix Suns were already without Cam Johnson heading into their four-game road trip, and now it appears they will be without another key starter as well.

Point guard Chris Paul left Monday's loss in Philadelphia with what was later described as right heel soreness. He left just two minutes into the second quarter and didn't return.

Now, he will miss all of Wednesday night's action vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, a team Phoenix has already beaten once this season.

Paul averaged a 9.5/4.5/9.4 stat line in 30 minutes averaged per night. He's currently tied for third in assists with Trae Young.

The Suns are probable to insert Cameron Payne into the starting lineup. Damion Lee and Landry Shamet also exist as backcourt options as well.

The Suns (7-3) look to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time all season.
