Chris Paul Gets Honest About Chemistry With Warriors

Chris Paul has some work to do.

Chris Paul and the Golden State Warriors have had a very longstanding rivalry that goes back a decade. Paul knows he's a stranger in their system, and knows that he has some chemistry to work on.

Paul sat down with Lindsay Czarniak on an episode of "Lunch with Lindsay", where he discussed chemistry-building with his new teammates.

"When you try to make chemistry as fast as possible, the only thing you can do is build trust," Paul said. "And the only way you can do that is with time. But I think we're sometimes teams mess up is thinking that everybody has to like each other. Cuz that's hard. Some people are going to be into this, some people are going to be into that. But what you gotta do is try to make sure everybody respects each other. They may not necessarily like each other, but make sure you respect them. And then you don't want to let that guy next to you down. So if you can build that up, then that will supersede anything else."

If there's one player who is capable of adapting to a new situation, it's Chris Paul. Paul has figured out a way to lead the Phoenix Suns in just one year, lead the LA Clippers in just one year, and even the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder in just one year. This time around though, Paul's responsibility will be much different with the Golden State Warriors.
