After opening free agency by extending Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors have been quiet since, and have seen two of their free agents sign elsewhere. The first Warriors player to depart was restricted free agent Ty Jerome, who signed a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This move was followed by Donte DiVincenzo signing with the New York Knicks.

Draymond Green reacted to these two moves on Instagram, showing support to his former teammates:

The departures of Jerome and DiVincenzo are not entirely surprising, as the Warriors knew there was a possibility of Jerome signing an offer above their price range, and certainly knew DiVincenzo would be too expensive. That said, the Warriors will still have to find replacements, whether internally or externally.

Jerome was not a regular rotation piece for the Warriors last season, but did have some solid performances when injuries freed up minutes. DiVincenzo was a mainstay in Golden State's rotation, and will certainly be somebody they have to directly replace.

The Warriors reportedly had interest in signing veteran guard Eric Gordon before his agreement with the Phoenix Suns. There is a chance they decide to move Moses Moody into a more prominent role, but even if he takes another leap, the Warriors will likely need to acquire at least one more piece to round out their bench.
