Jordan Poole Gets Honest About Relationship With Steph Curry

Jordan Poole still has love for Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Jordan Poole may no longer be a member of the Golden State Warriors after being unexpectedly traded, but he still has love for some of his former teammates like Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Poole spoke with the media during NBA Summer League, where he opened up about his relationship with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson after being traded.

"Well, those are the two greatest shooters of all time, in my opinion personally," Poole said. "It's just things that you learn in practice, in the game, on the road, that you wouldn't be able to learn not being in the mix, and I'm thankful for that. You learn, you apply to your skillset, the things you want to be good at, and also built a relationship to where I can ask them. I can text Steph, I can text Klay, I can call them, and just have a conversation. That doesn't leave, that doesn't go anywhere. If anything, I just know the plays that they run. Split actions, high ball screens, competitive advantage."

The situation of trading Jordan Poole is a really unfortunate one for the Warriors and one that is somewhat of a failure for the organization. Many in the league, including Paul George and DeMar DeRozan, think very highly of Jordan Poole, and the organization gave up on him within only four years. The team failed to contain Draymond Green, allowed him to punch Jordan Poole, and then traded their young prospect after getting punched in the face.

Now, all the chips are stacked on hoping Chris Paul works for the Golden State Warriors. It's a move that no one can really predict just quite yet, but it's going to be interesting to watch.
