Steve Kerr's Unexpected Reaction to Draymond Green's Ejection

Steve Kerr had a reaction you wouldn't expect.

Typically, when Draymond Green gets ejected from a game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is one of the quickest people to defend him. On Wednesday night, that wasn't the case at all.

Draymond Green was ejected within four minutes against the Orlando Magic during a call that he wasn't even involved in. It was an incredibly critical game for the Warriors and the team desperately needed him on the court. It was a moment that Kerr immediately said was Green's fault.

"Too bad, it was unfortunate," Kerr said. "He deserved it. He'll bounce back, I'm just proud of the guys for stepping up. Moses came off the bench, had a big game for us. Gui made a big three. Gary was fantastic. We had guys step up, and that's what it takes."

At this point, Draymond Green's antics are starting to become indefensible by his coaches and teammates. He's just starting arguments with referees for the sake of starting arguments. The reactions of Steph Curry and Steve Kerr to the ejection speak volumes.

As time goes on, it's starting to feel like Draymond Green didn't actually learn anything during his suspension, and he's still the same player he's always been. Since he's returned, Green has put players in near-headlocks, been ejected over nothing, and argued with referees consistently. It's time for the Warriors themselves to have a talk about his contributions and behavior to the team.
