Zion Williamson's Status vs. Golden State Warriors Revealed

The New Orleans Pelicans have released their injury report vs. Golden State

The New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors are set to face off in a crucial game on Friday night. The Pelicans have released their injury report for this game, and Zion Williamson is not listed, meaning he is available to play.

Both New Orleans and Golden State played on Thursday night, but will not be resting any star players for this game. As previously mentioned, this is a huge game for both teams. The Pelicans enter this game just one game above the seventh seed Phoenix Suns. For the Warriors, they enter this game with the exact same record as the eighth seed Sacramento Kings and 10th seed Los Angeles Lakers.

There is still a lot to be determined with the Western Conference standings and playoff picture, and this game between Golden State and New Orleans will go a long way towards sorting some of it out. The Warriors have done well in recent weeks to put themselves in position to move up the standings, whereas New Orleans has been a different story.

Struggling in the injury absence of Brandon Ingram, the Pelicans have been slipping down the standings, but do currently hold a playoff spot. Looking to maintain a top-six seed, the Pelicans need a win against Golden State on Friday night to keep themselves in position to avoid the play-in tournament.
