2014 NFL preview: Indianapolis Colts
Friday September 5th, 2014

The Indianapolis Colts finished last season atop the AFC South, with an 11-5 record. The Colts defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs before losing to the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round.

It was the second straight season in which the Colts finished 11-5. Indianapolis qualified for the playoffs both seasons, though they were a wild card in 2012.

This season, the Colts have the easiest strength of schedule in the NFL based on winning percentages from last season.

During the offseason, Indianapolis added defensive end Arthur Jones, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, safety Mike Adams and linebacker D'Qwell Jackson.

Andrew Luck finished his second year in the NFL with 23 touchdowns and only nine interceptions. He threw for 3,822 yards.
