49ers safety Antoine Bethea (shoulder) leaves game vs. Seahawks

Friday October 23rd, 2015

San Francisco 49ers safety Antoine Bethea exited Thursday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after sustaining an apparent shoulder injury, the team announced. He did not return.

Bethea seemed to have hurt himself on play toward the end of the second quarter. On the play, Bethea was flagged for a facemask penalty against Seattle receiver Doug Baldwin.

Jaquiski Tartt, a rookie safety, took over for Bethea.

Bethea has 39 combined tackles and one sack over six games this season.

The Seahawks went on to defeat San Francisco 20–3.
